Barbara Hanson Grovenstein, a native of Irvington and a longtime resident of Mobile, died on Friday, February 15, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Olin and Minnie Hanson, Sr.; one brother, Olin Hanson, Jr., and sister, Jessie Lee Tibbetts.
Mrs. Grovenstein is survived by her husband of 59 years, B.H. Grovenstein; one sister, Minnie Lee Tibbetts; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held from St Paul's Lutheran Church on Monday February 18, 2013 at 11 AM. Visitation will start at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 6100 Cottage Hill Rd., Mobile, AL, 36609. Burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
