Barbara Faye Obert

Barbara Faye Obert, age 79, lovingly known by her family and friends as Faye, departed from this life and welcomed into the arms of Jesus, went home to her heavenly Father on July 10, 2022. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Pine Crest Funeral Home from 5 pm to 7 pm and a funeral service on Friday July 15, 2022 at 2 pm with visitation beginning at 12 noon.

She is survived by her three daughters; Karen (Tracy) Sweatt, Amber Batchelor and Deborah (Robert) Pounder, two grandchildren; Ashlyn (Mark) Pickern and Keith Batchelor, great grandchildren; Brielle and Declan Pickern, one sister; Elaine Pierce as well as numerous other family members.

She is preceded in death by her father, Melmoth "Doc" Smith, Mother Gertrude Harper Smith, sisters and brothers, Dorothy, James Louis, Sherman, Bobby Joe, Sara, Catherine and Beth.

Faye loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, her family and we can't leave out Alabama football. She was also known as "The Crazy Bama Fan". She was adored and respected by everyone in the Fire Sprinkler Industry throughout the Southeast.

She had a heart of gold, loved deeply and gave unselfishly. She was quick witted, always smiling and will be missed beyond measure.
