Betty P. Walden, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born in Rockdale County, Georgia on June 28, 1936 to Joe Brown and Dell (Malcolm) Piper. Betty was an active member of St. Mark's Methodist Church in Mobile. She loved her children, grandchildren, friends and all her family in Georgia. Betty was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan; one of her last statements being, "How "bout them Dawgs?"
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 61 years, Roy Walden, daughter Stacey Walden Earley, and brothers Joe Piper and Jimmy Piper. She is survived by her son Ken (Patricia) Walden, grandchildren Autumn Walden, John Walden, Gene Walden, Meg Earley, and Alison Earley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was a loving, caring, and giving person who will be missed greatly by her friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at Radney Funeral Home at 2:00 P.M. Interment will follow at Pine Crest West Cemetery on Snow Rd.
