Beverly B Hess

Beverly Barrett Cain Hess, age 88, of Mobile, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017. She is survived by her children, Brenda (John) Elsevier, Sandra (Butch) Ousley, Leo (Beth) Cain, Jr., and Patricia (Russell) Downs; two brothers, Howard Barrett and Michael Barrett; step-children, Maureen Taylor, Patricia (Rick) Carta, and William Hess; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Daisy Barrett; her husband, Howard Hess; two step-children, Laura Still and Theresa Hess; and a grandchild. Mrs. Hess was President of the Mobile Women’s Business Association and a longtime member of the Mardi Gras Association. She was President and led the 25th Anniversary Ball of La Luna Servante. Beverly was devoted to the Lord and her family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Eastern Shore Health Care. Donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Fairhope Building Fund. The visitation will be Monday, January 23, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Pine Crest Mausoleum. Dr. Jerry M. Henry will officiate.
