Billy Eugene Morris

Billy Eugene Morris, 73, died peacefully at home in the early morning hours of Friday, December 6, 2019. He was born in Moss Point, MS where he's always resided. He graduated Moss Point High top 10 in his class and attended Mississippi State for a short term before being drafted into the United States Military where he served 3 years in the Army Branch of Service, where 18 months was served as an M.P. in Vietnam. He was a proud veteran. He is retired from International Paper Company, where he was a crane operator for 31 years and 3 months. When he grew restless from retirement he joined Walmart's mantainence team for 14 years.

He is preceded in death by a son, Eugene Lynn Morris, father and mother, Artie Ray Morris and Mecome Malloy (Fisher) Morris, brother, Winfred Benson Morris, sisters, Phyllis Honatter and her twin, Patricia Morris and Nelda Ray Mathis.

Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Katrina Louis Morris, grandson Joseph Dewayne, brothers; Frank (Nancy) Morris, Larry (Devette) Morris, Jerry Morris, Steven Morris, sisters; Beverly Singleton, Edna Ruth Woodcock, Freddie Jo Welton, Mickey Sue Morris, Dorothy Morris; grandson, Dakkoda Glenn Sirewalt, 2 great-grandkids, Dakkoda Stirewalt, Jr. and Joseph Price. Arrangements for memorial services will be announced at a later time.
