
Billy Thomas Wilkinson, 84, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his residence in Mobile, AL with his loving wife of 65 years by his side. Mr. Wilkinson was born to Henry Martin and Zenora Delilah Bond Wilkinson in Laurel, MS on October 17, 1932. He was a journeyman plumber for the city of Mobile and after moving to Mississippi, he became a master plumber. A member of Guy T Smith Masonic Lodge #883 for over 50 years, the 32 degree Scottish Rite, Abba Shrine Temple and was a participant in the Key Stone Kops riding in numerous Mardi Gras parades. He spent many years as a member of Fifty Funny Fellows. He is also a member of Saint Andrews Episcopal Church. He is preceded in death by his infant son, his parents, his brother Charles Wilkinson, and Sister Betty Holt. He is survived by his wife Carol Ann Nurse Wilkinson, daughters Rebecca (Keith) Lott and Sarah (Robert) Lee. Eight grandchildren, Kevin (Deidre) Lott, Jarrett Lott, Amanda Lott, Heather (Chuck) Beach, Trey Lee, Crystal (Brian) Welshan, Ronda (Scott) Clark, and Angela (Tim) Kozel. Fifteen great-grandchildren, Jackson and Emily Lott, Thomas Raley, Huck Beach, Courtney, Tori, Brandon, Justin, Ava, Faith, Zachary, Hunter, Magan, Victoria, and Colton. Two great-great grandchildren, Raiden and Marley. As well as numerous Nieces and Nephews. The visitation will be held Thursday September 21, 2017 at Pinecrest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, AL from 9:00-10:00 with chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pinecrest Cemetery. Donations may also be made to Abba Shrine Transportation Fund, 7701 Hitt Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
