Cecelia Daniel Bromley born July 14, 1923 in Georgetown Kentucky passed away October 2, 2019 in Mobile Alabama where she lived the majority of her life. She retired after 30 years of service as a federal employee working in the headquarters building at Brookley Air Force Base and was an Import Specialist with U S Customs respectively. Never one to sit still, in retirement she occupied her time serving the community through volunteering for various charitable events with R S V P, preparing income taxes for senior citizens and was a Spring Hill Memorial Hospital volunteer. Her favorite hobby, weekly bridge was a time to play and also a time to plan bridge group annual travel events that spanned from the Caribbean to Greece over the years. She is preceded in death by her wonderful parents Eldridge and Katheryn Davis and her son in law Charles Holman. She leaves to cherish her memory her two children Linda Holman ( Casey ) Tom Bromley ( Virginia ). Grandchildren Danny Holman ( Tiffany ) Lindsey Looke( Steven ) and Reynolds Bromley Great grandchildren Bromley Looke and Carlyle Looke.Her two brothers Charles Davis ( Marie ) Jim Davis ( Joan ) and her precious devoted sister Mary Katheryn Cox who we will never be able to thank enough for what she did for our mother. She treasured all of her many nieces and nephews Chris Cox (Tara ) Angel Davis, Maura Alspaugh ( Todd )Charlie Davis Jr. ( Lea ) Mary Alonzo Joanie Trehan ( Charles ) Jimmy Davis ( Dottie ) John Paul Davis ( Lynne ) Steven Davis
( Bethany ) Judy Kling, Frank Brown and Sharon Richmond and many great nieces and nephews. Her many friends and coworkers were always in her thoughts and close to her heart throughout the years. A burial service will be graveside on Saturday October 5th at 10:00 in the Pinecrest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Parkway. In lieu of flowers a donation to your favorite charity.
