Charles Amos (Charlie) Graham, born May 15, 1945 a native of Mobile, AL. and long time resident of Orange Beach, AL. on January 15, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Wilmer Leslie and Gertrude Howell Graham, his brothers, Wilmer Leslie Graham, Jr., and Walter Lavert Graham both of Mobile and granddaughter Devon Emily Estelle. Charlie is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lisa Blan Graham, his two children Terran (Tim) Graham Cavanaugh of Leakesville, MS. and Jeffrey (Rhonda) Todd Graham of Orange Beach. His mother-in-law Maria Mallis Blan of Orange Beach, grandchildren Joshua, Jordan, and Drew of Leakesville, MS.
He was a graduate of The University of South Alabama and The School of Banking of the South at LSU. After 35 years with Regions Bank, he retired in 2002 while serving as President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Regions in Baldwin County. Charlie was active in his community and served as on the Board of Directors of The Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, the American Institute of Banking, Baldwin United, the Baldwin County Economics Development Alliance and Thomas Hospital Foundation. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and maintained an active relationship with his Sig brothers from the ETA Epsilon Chapter at USA. Charlie was an avid golfer and was a member of Gulf Shores Golf Club snice 1987. He was also a devoted fan of the Crimson Tide Football and with his wife Lisa attended many games over the years.
Although he was known as Charlie by most people, he was affectionally called "Oogie" since childhood by his family and close friends.
A memorial gathering at Radney Funeral Home will be announced soon. The family will have a private burial service. In lieu of flowers the family ask the donations be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
