Drago and I were classmates at Southwestern. We played a lot of cards together and did other activities. While I could not get in touch with him over the years I often thought of him and remembered him fondly.  He roomed with Owen Middleton who made a name for himself in music, Chris and I never were able to decide who was the best poker player. Chris RIP.

Chris was a longtime friend. Great sense of humor when visited with him from time to time. Really gonna miss the guy. I just found out this morning (February 10, 2018) he had passed away.

I knew Chris for about 20 years, from the early 80's until around 2002 when we lost our connection.  Chris was one of a kind.  The first word that comes to mind is eccentric, but the next words are thoughtful and kind.  If you needed a friend or help - for whatever reason - Chris was your man.  I remember telling him that I collected books by a New Orleans author, Harnett Kane.  Chris proceeded to go through what I had and then systemically search until he found all the ones I was lacking.  It made me a little angry because part of the fun of collecting is finding the stuff, but that was just Chris.  He haunted book stores and flea markets, so it was easy for him to do.  That was Chris.

I am heartbroken. Chris has been a friend and a sports memorabilia pal for more than 30 years. I am going to miss him very much.
