Daisy Mae Moore

She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Matthew Moore; her mother, Georgia Kennedy; two sons, Carl and Terry Moore; and a granddaughter, Miranda Moore.

Daisy was born on a Sunday morning in Camden, Alabama. She moved to Mobile with her family at an early age. She attended The Greater Nazaree Baptist Church, where she gave her life over to the Lord. There, she sang in the choir and was on the usher board. She also joined the Eastern Stars.

She leaves to cherish her love and memories, her loving and devoted daughters, Cheryl Moore-Meggs, and Feleccia Moore-Davis; one daughter-in-law, Myra Moore; four sons, Stanley (Verline), Byron (Marquetta), Daniel (Danderia), and Mark (Pamela); her only living brother, William (Catherine) Pressley; seven grandchildren; a loving and devoted granddaughter, Bianca Moore, Remi and Michaela Davis; four grandsons, Andre and Adrian Moore, Rashad Moore and Darius Lott; eight great-grand, devoted Saway Brown, Shamar Lowe, Andrae and Aundrea Moore, Aleece, Zion, Odin and Miles Lott; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. She will be missed by us all.

Visitation for Daisy will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at The Greater Nazaree Baptist Church. A Homegoing Celebration will immediately follow. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
