

Dolores Irvena (Bena) Pierce Moore, 88 years old, and a lifetime resident of Mobile, Al, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her home after a short illness in the hospital. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and the Young at Heart Club. Throughout her career, she worked at Gulf Transport, Gayfer’s and Sears for over twenty years. Dolores also worked and retired from Wal-Mart after almost twenty years of service. She was a wonderful sister, loving wife and mother, and a very beautiful and giving spirit-an angel in our lives. She was preceded in death by her husband Linwood Pendleton (Danny) Moore; her parents, Clarence Archibald Pierce and Dolores Emery Pierce; her sister, Audrey Elizabeth Pierce Irving. Dolores (Bena) is survived by her sister, Judy Pierce Moore, her loving children, Linda Broadus, (Steve); Dolores King; Linwood Moore, (Debra); Elaine Todd, (Robert); Archie Moore; Jerry Moore, (Cheryl); Treva Cushman, (Jay); 29 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be some of her grandsons: Jerome Moore, Jr.; Archie David Moore, Jr.; Chris Reed; Robert (Rogie) Todd, Jr.; Taylor Reed; Jody Moore.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, January 15, 2018. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with Monsignor Farmer officiating. Interment will be at Magnolia Cemetery.
