Donald Jerome Carley

Donald Jerome Carley, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Jerome and Mary Jane McAuvic Carley, niece, Michelle Paul and brother-in-law, Harper Sellers. Mr. Carley was born on D-day, June 6, 1944. He worked in the landscaping business for over 40 years. He was a graduate of University of South Alabama. His children were the loves of his life, his pride and joy. He enjoyed family time and will always be remembered by his family and friends as a patient, kind man.."One of a Kind". Mr. Carley is survived by his children; Mary Jane McGugin (Adam) and Russell Carley (Payton). He is also survived by the mother of his children and his "favorite ex-wife," Clara Carley, his grandchildren; Brantley McGugin, Campbell Carley, Stella Carley, his sisters, Sharon Sellers, Linda Rose (Charlie), brothers, Doug Carley, Robert Carley, Gary Carley (Leslie) and Greg Carley (Cheryl). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Catholic Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Russell Carley, Chad Carley, Joseph Sellers, Paul Rose, Sean Carley and Ryan Carley.
