Donald Wayne Wood – a 55 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2013. He will always be remembered for his kind and gentle heart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Clifton Wood and Catherine Elizabeth Wood; brothers, Robert A. “Bobby” Wood and James E. Wood; nephew, Mark Wood; and niece, Sonja Wood. Survivors include his sister, Carolyn Wood Parker; brothers, Raymond Clifton Wood and David Edward Wood; 12 nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Monday, April 1, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Mulherin Custodial Home, 2496 Halls Mill Rd., Mobile, AL 36606.
