Donna Melton Dobbs Schneider – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Friday, February 19, 2010 in a Birmingham, AL hospital. Donna was a graduate of Greystone Christian School. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a degree in Marketing. She was a former member of Fulton Road Baptist Church and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Donna is survived by two daughters, Lauren Michelle Dobbs and Caroline Ashley Dobbs both of Mobile, AL; her parents, Don and Eleanor Melton of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Darrell W. (Cindy) Melton of Foley, AL and Dennis J. Melton of Mobile, AL; her paternal grandmother, Alyne D. Coker of Goodway, AL; two nephews, Hunter and Kyle Melton of Foley, AL; her ex-husband’s, James B. Schneider and Wayne E. Dobbs both of Mobile, AL; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 12 Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
