Donnie Louis Neece, 77, of Mobile, AL, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on January 22, 2024. He was born on October 31, 1946, in Walnut Ridge, AR. Donnie possessed an innate love for people and turned every encounter into a meaningful connection. He infused every interaction with a sense of love and significance, leaving each person feeling cherished. Donnie enjoyed spending time outdoors. He had a passion for hunting and fishing.
Donnie is survived by his beloved wife, Judith Neece (Groom), his daughters Brooke Neece Olson (Domenic), Erin Lane Neece, and his son Derek Thomas Neece (Amanda). He was a proud grandfather to Gracie, Tate, and Eloise Olson, Tanner, Connor, and Mason Neece, and Demi and Dusty Neece. Donnie also had a great-grandson, Asher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Betty Neece, and his brother, Michael Neece.
A graveside service will be held at Mobile Memorial Gardens on Monday, January 29, 2024, at 2:00 pm. The service will be conducted by John Breland of South Coast Church and Radney Funeral Home located in Mobile, AL.
Donnie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Amid life's adversity, he stood as a beacon of loving serenity, a soothing presence that anchored us all.
