

Edward Clinton MacKinnon (Clint), 23 of Mobile, Alabama went to be with his Savior, August 24, 2013. He was born on June 17, 1990 by Dana and T.Bruce MacKinnon. We are grateful for the 23 years God gave us with him.
Clint attended St. Paul's Episcopal while participating in cross-country and football. He was in the United States Marines reserves, a student at the University of South Alabama and a member of the USA Sailing Team.
Clint was passionate about history, sailing, traveling the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Along with attending college and serving as a US Marine reservist he worked diligently in his families business and family farm while also working in landscape and fountain repair.
He is predeceased by Thomas B. MacKinnon, (grandfather), William & Veda Odom, James & Alva Sue Horton (grandparents), William C. Sturgeon, (Great grandfather) and Lisa Kay MacKinnon (Aunt).
He is survived by (Parents) Dana & T.Bruce Mackinnon (Siblings) Olivia, Mary Thomas, Eli, Lily Grace and Harbour. (Grandparent's) Barbara & Edward Horton, Ricia & Jim Hendrick of Mobile, Alabama. (Uncle) Kent and (Aunt) Amy Horton, (Cousins) Harley, Luke & Gauge Horton of Grove Hill, Alabama. Extended family includes: Jeanne, Jay and Valerie Blackburn; Adrienne, Caroline and William Coffey; Chris, Mathew and Patrick Layfield; Melissa, Ed, Will, Charlie and Davis Trimble; Kimberly, John & Davis Works.
There will be a celebration of Clint's life for family and close friends on Thursday August 29, 2013 at 2:00PM at Springhill Presbyterian Church located on 10 Westminster Way, Mobile Alabama 36608
