Mr. Edward Joseph Mallon, Jr.

Known by his family and friends as Eddie, he was a dedicated member of Our Savior Catholic Church. Eddie faithfully served his country in the United States Army and received the purple heart for his service in Vietnam. Eddie continued to volunteer for the Veterans Center in Mobile through his final days. Eddie was an avid fisherman and enjoyed spending time with his family and eight grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his Father, Edward Mallon Sr. and mother, Mary Hazel Ward Mallon.

Eddie is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna Baggett Mallon, Daughter, Jennifer Laurie Pritchett (husband Gene), son, Edward J Mallon, III (wife Sylvia), 6 Grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Andrew, & Christian Pritchett and Evelyn & Lucas Mallon, 4 sisters, Mary Culp, Helen (Cookie) Mallon, Meg Cobb (husband Stephen), & Pat Bessonen (husband Kurt), and numerous other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama with the Rosary Service at 12:45 p.m. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama
