TODAY ITS BEEN 1 YEAR THAT YOU ARE GONE MY DEAR FRIEND AND I MISS YOU SO MUCH, MISS OUR CHATS AND YOUR FUNNY JOKES, I THINK OF YOU SO OFTEN AND PICTURE YOU HAPPY AND SMILING WITH YOUR HUBBY...RIP MY DEAR, SWEET FRIEND LIZ...I LOVE AND MISS YOU.....

Liz and I met online through our Family History research; we shared our information and what photos we had of our relatives. At the time she was caring for her husband, Raymond, and soon we both lost our spouses about the same time in 2005. I urged her to come to New Mexico for a short RV trip with me, and she did! We had a great time and shortly after, Liz began taking one International trip after another, enjoying every minute of her world-wide travels. Over the years, Liz would often thank me for getting her "out and about" that first time. I will miss my cousin Liz, her fun sense of humor and adventuresome spirit.

Liz & I met on-line when I was researching my father's family tree. Her father and my grandfather were brothers. She shared a copy of the wonderful research she had done on my father's side of the family,and I gave her the few details she had not already uncovered. She became one of my frequent and most favorite correspondents. My family & I had the wonderful opportunity to visit & meet her in the summer of 2010. We are so glad we traveled the extra thousand or so miles to put Mobile on our itinerary! Been missing her for the last 4 months; just learned of her passing by a web search. Forever in your debt, Liz--love you!

Grandma there were so many things I wish I had said to you while you were still here. I know I told you once that you were one of the strongest women I had ever known and that I admired you; though I'm not sure you knew to what extent. You and Grandpa were my favorite people in the whole world and I'm sorry I didn't tell you that more often. Though I'm grown and you're gone you're still teaching me lessons in life and one day I hope I can be half of the woman you were. I love you Gma.

I received the sad news from Ward yesterday that Liz is no longer with us. It came as quite a shock. Liz and I met on line in 2002 through our love of family tree research. We were distant cousins. We continued corresponding and we became great friends. No matter where she was in the world, she would always send me a post card and/or little souvenir gifts. She was so thoughtful and kind. And although I did not know Liz personally, I became very, very fond of her. In my grief I will take comfort in the fact that she considered me her friend. Thank you Liz and may you rest in peace

Liz, you were a great Sister-in-law, and you will be missed by Margie and me.  Margie will always remember the trip you both took through Europe.

I love you Grandma.  Rest in Peace.  I am comforted knowing you are with your parents, your husband, and my Dad!!

liz was my friend  and we traveled together to thailand and guatemala and were planning also to go to holland but i could not make it as i was sick...now she traveled again to a beautiful place called paradise to be with her husband of whom she always talked so fondly....they will be happy together and will look over all of you, the family and friends....i enjoyed the time we had together and may her soul rest in peace now....liz will be missed greatly....love Heidi

I am one of Liz's grandchildren.  My Grandma was the strongest woman I have ever known.  We enjoyed her stories and experiences from her travels and her life experiences and knowledge will be forever in my heart.  She was fond of her garden and put her heart, sweat, and love into everything she did.  She taught me to lay it all down and do things all the way.  She will be greatly missed by our family and all of her loved ones!!!
