Emily McDonald Lowe – an 88 year-old native and resident of Mobile passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011. Mrs. Lowe was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church, was a 3rd Order Carmelite, and volunteered with the Providence Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, James Lowe, Sr. Mrs. Lowe is survived by her children, James Lowe, Jr., Catherine Baird (Robert), Ronald Lowe (Beth), Frank Lowe, Susan Beach (Charles), Matthew Lowe (Cindy), and Mary Rebecca Sheffield (Steve); sister, Virginia Doyle; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at 12 noon.
