

longtime resident of Semmes, AL.
He passed away at the age of 69 on September 2, 2025, after a 9 month battle with cancer. Roy proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Vietnam war and was a longtime employee of Ingall’s Shipbuilding. Roy was loved by all and will be terribly missed.
Roy is survived by his father Emmitt E. Robinson, Sr. (Shirley); sister Dorothy Robinson Dunnam (Henry); brother Vernon Bradley Robinson; nephew Robert Bradley Robinson; niece Lisa Robinson Wright; niece Amie Dunnam Maples (Hunter); niece Hannah Lynn Dunnam; nephew Mark Dunnam (Alyssa); nephew Noah Bradley Robinson; nephew Matthew Hilton; great niece Macie Ivy; great niece Katelyn Wright; great nephew Nicholas Robinson; great nephew Andrew Robinson; great niece Grace Robinson; great niece Ashlynn Kate Maples; great nephew Hayden Maples; great niece MaryAnna Dunnam; great niece Amelia Dunnam; and very close friend Catherine Morris.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene Hilton Robinson; his mother, Velma Arlene Robinson; and his sister, Sherry Marie Robinson Vickers.
Visitation will be held from 11am to 1pm on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street in Mobile. At 2 pm, there will be a service at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery located at 34904 Alabama Highway 225, Spanish Fort, AL, where he will be laid to rest with his beloved wife, Darlene Robinson.
