Ethel Rogenia Jackson – age 83, born in Chicago, IL and a longtime resident of Semmes, AL passed away Wednesday, March 02, 2011. Mrs. Jackson enjoyed painting, gardening, and ceramics. She was preceded in death by a son, Leo E. Jackson, Jr. Mrs. Jackson is survived by her husband of, 61 years, Leo E. Jackson; son, Kenneth Jackson; grandson, Brian Jackson (Kim); great-grandchildren, Aubrey, Lucy, and Ellen Jackson; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, March 7, 2011, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, March 6, from 3-4 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
