Evelyn May Burns, 90, born on November 9, 1927, in Arcadia, Kansas, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. She became a resident of Mobile in 1959. She was a member of Holy Family Parish.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick E. Burns, and a son, Timothy J. Burns. She is survived by 2 sons, Richard L. Burns (Angie), Peter Burns (Brenda), and daughter, Patricia B. Garner. She is also the proud grandmother of James P. Burns, Michael J. Burns, and Joshua J. Burns (Kimber). Mrs. Burns is also the great-grandmother of Callahan Burns.
Visitation will be held prior to the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church at 10:00. Mass will begin at 11:00, followed by interment in Pine Crest Cemetery.
