Evelyn Ottlie Durant

Evelyn Ottlie Durant, born October 26, 1916 in Chicago IL to John and Clara Schenk. She passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at the age of 102. She moved to Elberta, AL in 1926. She graduated nursing school and became a registered nurse for many years. She was a member of Government Street Presbyterian Church. Evelyn was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Mrs. Evelyn Durant is preceded in death by her husband Grover A. Durant Sr., and her parents John and Clara Schenk.

She is survived by her four sons Grover (Vickie) Durant Jr., John (Sherry) Durant, Dolive Durant, Hiram (Carolyn) Durant; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Durant is also survived by many more family members and friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, May 10, 2019 at Magnolia Cemetery. The interment followed. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
