Frances Rogers Taylor

Mrs. Frances Rogers Taylor, age 94 and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Rose Mae Rogers, husband George Forman Taylor, Jr., brother C. D. Rogers and sister Melba Watson. Mrs. Taylor was a 1978 graduate of the University of South Alabama and a longtime member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. She retired from the State of Alabama Employment Service after many years of service. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her children, Alph C. Taylor (Sandra), George F. Taylor, III (Robin) and Nancy Taylor Watson (Slade). She also leaves to cherish her memories her grandchildren, Laura Swindler, Sarah Stanford, Charles Taylor, Celia Taylor, Britt Taylor and great-grandchildren Reagan Swindler, Morgan Swindler and Ava Stanford. A visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church (Little Chapel) on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
