Gertrude Marshall Wade Pace went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 12, 2015. She was 98 years old and a resident of Mobile, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marion & Gertrude Marshall, her sister Inez Helton, brothers Bernard & Edward Marshall, her husband John D. Wade and 2nd husband Wayne A. Pace.
She is survived by her children, Sharon Wade DeLaFuente, Michele Wade Barnes (Audrey) and Gerald M. Wade; 5 grandchildren, Jonathan DeLaFuente (Melissa), Shauna Barnes Berg, Johnathan, Zachary and Kyla Wade; 6 great-grandchildren, Katie & Jack DeLaFuente, Christopher, Addison & Benjamin Berg and Zoey Wade; nieces, a nephew, and other family members.
She is also survived by stepsons, Mike and Pat Pace.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until noon followed by a Celebration of Life Mass on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Little Flower Catholic Church, Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery.
Because of her extraordinary love of cats, family requests in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Project Purr or ARF in her name.
