Celebration of Life services for Gloria Ann Yawn Campbell will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5520 Zeigler Blvd, Mobile, Alabama, 36608. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama, 36605.
The family will be receiving guests for visitation on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama, 36605 from the hours of 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Visitation will pick up again Friday, January 4, 2019, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 5520 Zeigler Blvd, Mobile, Alabama, 36608, from 11:00 AM until time of service at 12:00 PM.
Gloria A. Campbell (Yawn) age 73 of Mobile, AL passed away peacefully on Thursday December 27, 2018 at home. She was born on February 2, 1945 in Mobile, AL to the late Elijah "Bobo" George Yawn & Annie "Baby" Elois Yawn (Flowers). She was a former employee at Jefferson Smurfitt and was active in charity and community services at church. She will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her siblings Mary Agnes Yawn, Elijah George Jr. Yawn, Barbara Lynn Yawn, and Emmett Gary Yawn.
Gloria is preceded in death by her parents; Elijah George and Annie Elois Flowers Yawn, Sister; Mary Agnes Yawn, Brother; Elijah George Jr. Yawn, sister; Barbara Lynn Yawn, and
Brother; Emmett Gary Yawn.
Left to cherish the beautiful memories of Gloria will be her beloved husband whom she married October 15, 1988; Thomas P. Campbell, two brothers: Ronald Wayne Yawn, wife Janet (Roberts), Raymond Otis Yawn, wife Gyorge Ann (Wecker), three sisters: Shirley Louise Yawn, husband Bob Newburn, Sandra Kay Yawn, Sonia Delores Yawn, husband Mark Lewis Sheafer, along with many extended family members and numerous wonderful friends.
