

Harry was a man of many interests and passions. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending his free time on the golf course, always striving to improve his swing. He also found excitement in the thrill of the casino, appreciating the challenge and camaraderie it brought.
When it came to food, Harry had a taste for the finest. Seafood and steak were among his favorite dishes, and he delighted in savoring every bite. Harry particularly enjoyed the lively tunes of Dixieland bands, finding joy in their energetic melodies.
Known as a fine man to all who knew him, Harry had a warm heart and a kind soul. He cherished his family above all else and treasured the moments they spent together. Harry also had a sense of adventure, finding great pleasure in exploring new places and experiencing different cultures through his travels.
In his leisure time, Harry could often be found enjoying classic episodes of Gunsmoke, immersing himself in the captivating stories of the Old West. He also had a love for sports, with golf and baseball holding a special place in his heart.
Harry is survived by his wife of 44 years, Elin Griggs and their devoted dog, Abby; children, Gary Griggs and Renee (Randy) Robinette from Swannanoa, NC; grandchildren, Travis (Jess) Robinette and Cayla Robinette; great grandson, Jackson Robinette
Harry A. Griggs, Jr. will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. His memory will forever be cherished, and his legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
