Hazel Jealean Dantzler

After a long illness our precious mother, Hazel Jealean Dantzler received her wings and went home to be with Jesus.

Jealean was born February 14, 1940 and died May 24, 2020. She loved the Lord and her family with all her heart. She will be greatly missed by all, but her love of life and family will carry on forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Allen Dantzler, and her parents, Preston and Hazel Joyner.

She is survived by her children Debbie (Hugh) Marshall, David Dantzler and Denys Dantzler Newman, five precious grandchildren, as she called them, Gabrielle and Rachel Marshall, Ridge and Caden Newman and Andrew Dantzler, sister, Betty (Daniel) Isham, brother, Michael (Vikki) Joyner, sister-in-laws Judy Poole, Helen (Tommy) Mitchell and Geri Dantzler and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Pine Crest Cemetery 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway at 2 p.m. Following the service a Celebration of Life will be held at the Heritage House.

Pall bearers: David Dantzler, Ridge Newman, Caden Newman, Andrew Dantzler, Chad Kiper and Joey Joyner.
