Helen Ruth Kennedy, born to the late Kenneth and Mary Lee Shivers departed this life, April 29, 2016. She is survived by two sons; Blake Kennedy, Michael Kennedy; two daughters, Christal (Theodore) Springett, Susan (Scott) Thornton, two sisters, Diane (Harry) Baker and Rita Andrews. Six grandchildren, Nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Natasha Kennedy, grandchild. A funeral service will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the service hour. Interment will be at Pine Crest Cemetery immediately following.
