Helen Lucille Null Ollinger was born in Mobile on September 1st, 1929. She died in Huntsville, Ala on November 10th, 2025 and was preceded in death by her parents Mr and Mrs Roscoe Louis Null and her husband of 71 years, Captain Joseph Ollinger
and her eldest daughter, Mary Anne Wall. She is survived by her son, Joseph Anthony Ollinger, and her daughter Evelyn Ollinger Franklin (Carter) She had 8 grandchildren: Catherine and Julius Wall (Caroline); Jake, Jessie and Merrit Ollinger; and Owen (Tiffany)Franklin, Helen Barber (Casey) and Sam Franklin.
Joe and Helen were devoted and active members of St Ignatius Catholic Church and were members of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St Ignatius Catholic Church in Mobile, Alabama on March 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Catholic Education Fund at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 3704 SpringHill Avenue, Mobile, Alabama 36608.
