Herbert Cody Vines, II

Cody will be lovingly remembered by his mother Susan Vines Fussell; sisters Kimberly (Mike) Hendrix, Deanna (Michael) Fritz, Jenny Fussell, and Amy (Dave) Hollowell; nieces and nephew Charlotte (Jed) Barbour, Ethan Hendrix, Michelle and Isabel Sharer, Abby and Anna Hollowell; great nephews Lincoln and Emmett Barbour; life-long friend Mary Pritchett, who was like a sister; and other relatives and dear friends. Cody was predeceased by his father Herbert Cody Vines and his stepfather Harold Lynn Fussell.

Cody was an avid gardener and history buff; he loved studying architecture and was interested in antiques, carpentry, and genealogy; he enjoyed watching classic movies and listening to a variety of music.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Dr. Jeffrey George, Caring Hearts, the 12th floor nurses at Providence Hospital, and Saad’s Hospice for their care and compassion. We are eternally grateful to all of you for everything.

A visitation for Herbert "Cody" will be held Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, AL 36605, followed by a funerl service at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
