Jack Edwin Lowry Sr.

Mr. Jack E. Lowry Sr. A 82 year old native and resident of Mobile passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2011. Mr. Lowry retired from Teledyne as an Quality Control Inspector after many years of service. He was a faithful and active member of Manor Baptist Church and was a US Navy veteran. Mr. Lowry was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Gloria W. Lowry; parents, Lex and Mable Lowry. He is survived by his children, Angela Irby (Sid) of Spanish Fort, Edwin Lowry (Tricia) of Coden and David Lowry of Semmes; siblings, Betty Yount of Santa Ana, CA, Robert Lowry (Inez) of Huntsville, AL and Bonnie Collins of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Jared Irby (Amiee), Chris Lowry, Casey Lowry, PFC Jacob Irby and Joshua Lowry; two great grandchildren, CJ and Chloe; many special friends, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 12 Noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
