James Lawrence Crabtree, 67 of Mobile, AL passed away on October, 18, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born in Mobile on Nov. 3, 1947 and was a graduate of Theodore high school and attended the University of South Alabama. He was an avid football fanatic, he enjoyed watching westerns and military movies. He is survived by his spouse, Anette Ward Crabtree; children, Genevieve Annette Howell, Kimberly Dawn Simpson, Shannon Elaine Cain; parents, Bernard I. Crabtree and Ethelyn Steiner Crabtree; grandchildren, Victoria Howell, Dawn Simpson, Emily Simpson, Randall Lands, Codie Parsley, Allen Cain and Robert Cain.his siblings, Donald J. Crabtree, Carolyn L. Barton, Sheila M. Byars, Lucille B. Crabtree; nieces/nephews,Brandi Brooks, Robin Vaughn, Mandy Rice, Cindy Baker,Josh Barnes and Josh Byars. A graveside service will be held on Oct. 22, 2015 at 12:30 at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spanish Fort, AL. Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11:30. Pallbearers are Robert Cain, Randall Lands, Don Crabtree, Joe Byars, Stephen Baker and Josh Byars.
