James W. Holland Sr.

James W. Holland Sr. - Age 85, a resident of Mobile, AL died peacefully at home surrounded by loving family on Friday, January 27, 2012. He proudly served in the US military during WWII. He was employed with Sunshine Biscuits, Inc. for 32 years established his own corporation after retirement and continued to work until he decided to retire for good. James is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Kathleen Jordan Holland; children, Jimmy (Chris) Holland, Ann (Rick) Scott, Jan (Doug) Kochan and John (Suzanne) Holland; grandchildren, Charity, Heather, Allison, Jordan, Tyler and Jason; great grandchildren, Christopher, Chase, Ayla, John, Sam, Wesley and Auguste. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Odyssey Hospice of Mobile. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 4:00 PM Monday, January 30, 2012 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with memorial service to begin at 5:00 PM.
