James Alford Linkenauger

James Alford “Rambo” Linkenauger – loving husband and father, a 67 year-old native of Charleston, WV and a resident of Theodore passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Mr. Linkenauger was a retired pipefitter. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer hunting. He will always be remembered as a kind and caring person and a wonderful friend. Mr. Linkenauger was preceded in death by his parents, Aubrey and Helen Linkenauger. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Delores Linkenauger; children, Scott Linkenauger and Teresa Smrecansky (Ken); sister, Irene Lewis (Jim); grandchildren, Shelby Linkenauger, Anthony Linkenauger, and Justin Wright; great-grandson, Gavin Linkenauger; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service hour.
