James Marion Tillman

James M. "Buck" Tillman, aged 91, formerly of Eight Mile Station, Al, died Aug. 5th in Spring, Texas. Buck was born June 8, 1922 to Evander and Winnie Tillman. He was predeceased by his wife Louise Dyal Tillman; his parents and sisters, Mary Louise Purser and Dorothy Owen. He is survived by daughters, Linda Carr and husband Leonard of Spring, Texas and Sharon Brand and husband Bob of Grantsville, Utah; seven (7) grandchildren and thirteen (13) great grandchildren. He was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 56 years. He worked at the National Gypsum Company in Mobile for 40 years before retiring. A visitation will be held from 10:00am until 11:00am on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
