Jane Doty Bulwinkle, 79, a native of Mobile, passed away on January 4, 2023 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born November 17, 1943, in Mobile, Alabama to the late William C. and Pauline “Polly” Sage Doty. She attended Murphy High School and graduated with the class of 1961’. Jane enjoyed arts and crafts. She worked for the Grapevine Deco Shop for years. Jane was an Substitute Teacher with UMS-Wright. She worked in sales at the Stein Mart Boutique and was a part of the Mobile Opera Staging group for many years. Jane attended Dauphin Way United Methodist Church and was a member of the Springhill Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her family and friends, and she loved her border collie, Murphee.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister-in-law; Lucy Reid.
Left to cherish Jane’s beautiful memories will be her beloved husband of fifty-seven years; Ernest N. Bulwinkle III, one brother-in-law; William F. Reid, nephew; William F. Reid, Jr. (Lindsey), niece; Clarkie Reid, along with many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

There will be a graveside service held Monday, January 9, 2023 at 9:30 AM on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, 1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile, Alabama 36605. A church service will be held at 11:00 AM at Springhill Presbyterian Church, 10 Westminster Way, Mobile, Alabama 36608 with Rev. Cary Speaker officiating.
