Jeanette Kirkland Thompson

Jeanette Kirkland Thompson was born in Castleberry, Alabama on September 4, 1916 and passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2012. Jeanette lived most of her life in Mobile, Alabama. She was the wife of Dock A. Thompson, deceased. She moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1980 and was a member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. She retired from the Baptist Book Store in Mobile and was the church librarian of her church in Mobile for fifteen years. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Marie Thompson Clark and husband Jerry L. Clark Sr; two grandchildren, Jerry L. Clark Jr. and wife Terry Clark, Janet Clark Williams and husband Rick Williams; three great grandchildren, Stephanie Clark, Alexander Clark, Crystal Williams Huddleston and husband Andrew Huddleston. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral home. Family will recieve friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. Pastor Jason Adams will conduct the service.
