Jimmie Arch Gibbs, Jr. age 61, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Alice Gibbs.

Jimmie was a graduate of Baker High School. He was born and raised in Mobile, Al and was a resident of Bay St. Louis, MS. He was a free-spirit making his way from one place to another making friends along the way. He never met a stranger.

He is survived by his daughters; Ashley Maples and son Elijah and Erica Rowland (Daniel) and children. He is also survived by his sisters; Debi Burroughs (Terry), Elizabeth Kelly, Annette Sennett (Carl), Donna Gibbs, beloved aunt, Sylvia Skinner, close cousin Teresa Girton, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at Airport Blvd. Baptist Church in Mobile on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. in the church sanctuary. Interment will follow immediately in Pine Crest West Cemetery, Snow Road.
