She was born in Mobile Jan. 20, 1934 to Robert and Vivian Smilie and was a 1950 graduate of Murphy High School.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Vivian Smilie, sister Anita Igou, first husband Joe Camilleri and second husband Billy Yost. She is survived by daughters Leigh and Jane Camilleri, dear family friend Renee Richard, niece Lynn (Mark) Yeager, nephew Les Igou and other relatives.
The family would like to especially thank caregiver Debra Peters and staff, as well as, Saad’s for their devotion and care.
A graveside service will be held at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 2pm.
