

John Clifton Baggett, 52, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile, AL, surrounded by family and friends. He is survived by his father, John Evan Baggett; his loving wife, Kimberly Baggett; daughters, Brooke Baggett Eubanks and Jacy Baggett; step-daughter, Jordyn Scaturro; son-in-law, Kelly Eubanks; sister, Julie Myers; brother-in-law, Craig Myers; mother of his children, Paige Vitulli. His mother, Joan Beebe Baggett precedes him in death. John was born on October 3, 1963, in New Orleans, LA, but spent the majority of his life living in Mobile, AL. He graduated high school from W.P. Davidson High School and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama where he played for the Jags baseball team. John was a successful sales executive for NCR, Blue Cross Blue Shield and the SSI Group. John’s success in business was in no small part due to his dynamic and outgoing personality, his belief that no one was a stranger, and his ability to understand and anticipate his customer’s need. He was a passionate outdoorsman. John’s hobbies included hunting, fishing, hiking and collecting Yeti products. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Visitation hours will be 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. A mass in John’s honor will be held from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the National Park Conservation Association (npca.org).
