

John D. Henline – A native of Messena, NY and a longtime resident of Irvington, AL died Sunday, December 25, 2011 in a local hospital. He was a veteran who served in the U.S. Navy for over 26 years. John was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend who will be greatly missed. He loved life, always wanted to make people laugh and smile. He never met a stranger. Survivors include his wife, Loreli R. Henline; three children, Sean Henline, Samuel (Desire MacDonald) Henline and Megan Henline; one sister, Sandy Dean; two brothers, Terry and Jesse Henline; granddaughter, Keely Givens; mother-in-law, Madge Reddington; and a host of other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m.. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 prior to the service time.
