Mrs. Johnny Faye Willisson, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Willisson is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Mattie Rowell of Citronelle, AL and four sisters.
Johnny has been a longtime faithful member of Government Street Baptist Church. She worked early in her life with Delchamps and later as a bookkeeper with Charmaine’s Beauty Shops. She will remembered by her family for her love and dedication. Her greatest treasures were her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Willisson is survived by her loving husband of 63 years E. W. “Sonny” Willisson, Jr. and sons, Edward Waring Willisson, III (Laurie) and Gregory Willisson. She is also survived by her grandsons; Brannon (Amy), Nolan (Leah), Gavin (Sidney) and four great-grandchildren; Wyatt, Wren, Lola and Macy.
Visitation will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Government Street Baptist Church on Saturday, February 8, 2020 beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
