Joyce Jones Brown

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilson Jones and Wilma Beasley Jones. She is survived by her devoted husband, Walter Brown, and three children, Becky (Randy) Ide, Cheryl Thomas, and Christie (Jack) Kickken. Also left to cherish her memory are six grandchildren, Heather Ide, Michael Ide, Jessie Story, James Story, Jeneva Thomas, and Jeremy Kickken; three great-grandchildren; two brothers; and numerous other family members and friends.

Joyce was well loved for her kind spirit and admired for her strength during her long battle with Alzheimer’s.

She will be dearly missed but we have peace and comfort in knowing she is now in the arms of our Lord.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 12 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Condolences may be offered at www.pinecrestfuneralhome.com.
