Joyce Everett Caffey

Mrs. Joyce Everett Caffey, age 87, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 17, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Claude F. Caffey and parents, Flem and Annie Mae Doolittle Everett. Mrs. Caffey retired with Regions Bank after 50 years of service in the banking industry. She was a member of Kushla-Bethany Baptist Church, a board member of the Salvation Army and Chickasaw Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Caffey is survived by her children; Claudia Brock (Dr. Larry) and Claude Patrick Caffey (Laura). She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care given to their mother by her caregivers; Kathy, Natesha, Jessica, Tashay and her Mercy Medical Hospice nurse, Gary. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home Dauphin Street on Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Funeral service will be held in the Oakleigh Chapel of the funeral home beginning at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest West Cemetery.
