Joyce Elizabeth Davis Murphy passed away on September 1, 2015 after a short illness. Joyce was born on September 21, 1939, in Mobile, AL. She was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley, AL. Joyce was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Ruth Inez Davis Turk and her daughter, Kim Marie Murphy Ney. Joyce is survived by her loving husband and life partner of 57 years, Joseph F. Murphy, Sr. and their son, Joey Murphy, Jr. (Brenda), her brother, George L. Moore (Judy), John M. Turk (Kim) and her sister, Darlene T. Mingus. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Ronnie Murphy (Brenda), sisters-in-law, Barbara Murphy (Robert Jones), Shirley Murphy and Becky M. Lay. Joyce and Joe also have three grandchildren, Nikki Gill ,Tony Tillman and Tayt Tillman, three great-grandchildren, cousins and many friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, AL on Sunday, September 6, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Paul Zoghby officiating.
