Judith "Judy" Allen Friedhoff, 76, a lifelong resident of Mobile, AL passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020 at a local hospital following a brief illness. She was affectionately known to many as "Nana." Judy graduated from Murphy High School, class of 1962, and attended the University of Alabama. A member of Christ United Methodist Church, Judy enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking and sewing, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents Chester A. Allen and Mary Fox Allen, and her brother Edward "Buddy" Wayne Allen. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William "Bill" J. Friedhoff, Jr.; daughters Leslie Maddox (David) and Tracy Reeves (Jimmy Sheffield); grandchildren Brittany Clark (Micah), Jordan Maddox, and William Reeves; great grandchildren, Lincoln Clark and Hampton Clark; one sister, Barbara Joan Davis, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family graveside services will be held in Pine Crest Cemetery West. A celebration of Judy's life will be planned and announced at a later date.
