Ms. Miller was born January 6, 1953, in Lucedale, Mississippi to the late Henry Bethea Watts and Kathern Ernestine Hollingshead.
Ms. Miller was a devoted wife for 46 years and sacrificially gave to her children. Her world revolved around her two sons until she was blessed with a grandson and granddaughter. She would then proudly tell everyone those babies were her heart. She thoroughly enjoyed serving others with a sweet smile. She worked for the Mobile County Public School System as a cafeteria worker and retired after 11 years of service. She was a member of Crawford Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband David Lee Miller, Sr.; brother-in-law, Donald Lampkin, Sr.
She is survived by her two sons David Lee Miller, Jr. (Tammy) of Lucedale, Dewayne Allen Miller (Brandy) of Semmes; sisters Fay Watts McKinion (Henry) of Wilmer, Julie Watts Lampkin of Semmes; two grandchildren Easton Kurtis Miller, Autumn Leigh Miller; one niece Maureen and two nephews Mickey and Mitchell.
Visitation will be held from 9 AM to 11 AM at Crawford Baptist Church on Monday, April 18, 2022, where the service is set at 11 AM. Interment to follow at 1:30 PM at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort.
