LeRae Cody Babington

LeRae Cody-Babington, 36, of Orange Beach, AL died on July 20 following an extended illness. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Thomas W. Babington; her mother, Jean Rogers Cody, Mobile; sisters, Angela Stepp Monson (Steve) of Liberty Lake, WA and Crissy Cody Stemkowski (Stashu) of Seattle, WA; stepson, Forrest M. Babington of Cumming, GA; aunts, Barbara Gass (Buddy) of Chelsea, AL and Joyce Cody of Mobile; and nieces, Allison Cody Stemkowski, Seattle and Ashleigh Elizabeth Monson of Liberty Lake, WA. She was preceded in death by her father Gerald Leon Cody of Mobile. Mrs. Babington was a graduate of the University of South Alabama, was selected as an Azalea Trail Maid in 1994 and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Visitation by friends and family of LeRae will be held on Monday, July 30 at 9:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 10:00 a.m. to be conducted at the Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Pastor Rick Long officiating. Interment will follow in the Mobile Memorial Gardens adjacent to the funeral home.
