Earl is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann Pierce; a daughter, Dawn Johnson; a sister, Joyce (Randy) Smith; a grandchild, Jackie (Julius) Waddell; and four great-grandchildren, J.R., Cullen, Austin, and Noah.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Pierce, Sr. and Eva Mae Sheffield Pierce; a sister, Jean Bosco; and four brothers, Marshall Pierce, Jr., Fred Pierce, John Ingram, and Jim Ingram.
